Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette (£43) is the brand’s latest 14 pan eyeshadow palette that launched recently for the Spring 2018 season. Yes, ladies and gents we have yet another nude palette on the market however ABH always adds a little twist! The twist comes in the form of dusky desert tones reminiscent of the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette. The colours themselves are no match however the both embody the vibe of a sunset in my opinion.
Like all ABH palette, Soft Glam comes in the standard flip open component with magnetic closure. The component is sheathed in the standard velvet finish that ABH loves so, prepare for the obligatory collection of makeup all over this nude coloured palette. The 14 pans hold 0.02oz of product in each. A full-size mirror is included as is the dual ended synthetic brush available with all ABH eyeshadow palettes.

Norvina did good! Not a chance would I have thought to pair rose shades with yellow golds and add a dash of orange but dam they look amazing! Each colour compliments the others well, actually more than well. The fact that this palette comes with a highlight shade, deep brown and carbon black colour, provides the opportunity to create endless eyeshadow looks. This is a true day to night eyeshadow palette and I can see it becoming a life palette for anyone who loves a nude look or two.
As with all Anastasia Beverly Hills Palettes the eyeshadow formula is very soft, easy to blend and smooth as butter. The metallic shades are cream like in texture which makes application a dream. The mattes have a velvet like finish which aids blending and I for one am about that! You will experience kick up when you dip a brush into the pan, but this is a sure-fire sign of high pigmentation and these eyeshadows do not disappoint on the pigmentation front! I experienced a little fallout when creating a smoky eye but, in all honesty, who doesn’t when using deeper shades. Overall, super impressed and wholeheartedly believe that ABH is back on top when it comes to formula
I have to admit I loved it. I want to say the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette might just be my favourite one yet however I am really struggling to put it ahead of the Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette so, I’d say it’s a draw.
There is no doubt in my mind that I will hit pan before I am ready to let go. Until that day comes, I am happily blending my day away!
Anyone purchase it? What was your experience with the palette?
