My Mother…

My mother is an incredible woman. Not only has she helped to raise 4 children, along with my fabulous father, but she has supported all of our hopes. This woman I get to call mum has instilled pride into our family. My mum believed I am no different to others and refused to hide me and my impairment from the world. Today I hold my head high, own my Microtia and hide from nobody. Without my mum I would not hold my degree, her fighting spirit runs through my veins and now I get to support others with the education I have acquired.

We have been taught to own our mistakes and been infused with the skills to stand tall when correcting them. This witty, hilarious lady has kept us laughing through the hard times and been a support structure when laughter was not the right therapy. I am forever grateful for being born into my crazy, loving and hilarious family however today I am most grateful for my mum.

Love you to the moon Mum xx

To all mother’s out there, I admire you!
