Yep, music festival season is fast approaching. A festival is the place where performers, celebs, and super-stylish concert-goers alike debut their warm-weather outfits (including beauty!). So it’s the perfect place to debut your own spring and summer outfit style.
Festival season kicks off in America from April with Coachella, so this week I wanted to share some outfit inspiration with you. I thought it would be helpful for any of you also attending festivals if I shared some of the nicer things I’ve come across…
Shorts are definitely my go to for any festival I attend. They are a quick and easy option and very fun to accessorize. I will always opt for some denim shorts if I am going for more of a casual or grungy look. Simply switch fabrics from denim to PU/leather dependant on your mood. Pair your shorts with a t-shirt or crop and your all set for style and comfort!
Another festival essential is a cool skirt/dress – you just can’t go wrong! I always plan one of my outfits for a festival around a skirt and a dress because I really love that look! Dressing them up with the right top or jacket makes for the ultimate and original festival attire! I need to get this camouflage skirt for a festival. This dress shirt paired with over sized denim jacket and studded Chelsea boots screams country chic to me!
T- shirts are such a staple item for festivals along with bodysuits & crop tops. They are such an easy and effortless item to style an outfit and with the right accessories, a perfect festival look!
…And last but not least, Jackets! Let’s face it, the weather can always be unpredictable for a festival, especially in the UK, so you’re best to be prepared for any scenario. Luckily for us, nowadays there is a really good choice of cool jacket options for festivals, so it doesn’t need to ruin your outfit, only add to it! I’m obsessed with this oversized camouflage jacket along with this over sized denim jacket.
When it comes to footwear comfort is vital! Festivals are guaranteed to keep you moving and grooving all day so the flatter the better in my opinion. The right shoe/boot is fully dependent on the style your rocking. These Chelsea boots lean towards western where as a pair of classic chucks give off a casual or grungy vibe, mixing up fabrics or colours adds tons of personality to your outfit!
Without a doubt, when it comes to festival dressing your accessories are the most important part of your look! You can make anything you have in your wardrobe look festival ready with the right accessories. My favourite go-to accessories for festivals are Sunglasses, stacked rings, chokers and earnings.

Misguided is one of the best places to pick up festival bits but I can not forget PrettyLittleThing. Both of these shops stock the hottest trends for low costs and high quality…. I love shopping with these!
