Making yourself feel happy often means continually finding a feeling of joy, and a sense that your life is meaningful during all kinds of problematic situations. Nobody and I mean nobody, is happy all the time. Being brutally honest, some individuals are just more fortunate than others when it comes to emotions and feeling and that is ok. We are allowed to accept our feelings are not always going to be positive and only we can make them better. A sense of happiness is good for your health, so what can we do to feel happy? Here are the best 5 ways to retrain the brain to make yourself feel happy.

They are going to be the things that are fundamental to how you look at life. For example, “commitment to trying my best” could be a value, or “dedication to family” or “commitment to taking a positive outlook.” Whatever your values are, research suggests that when you are not living your life and making choices that are in line with your values, you’re likely to feel unhappy and dissatisfied.
